About the Event
What is a masterclass?
A masterclass is an educational event where an artist works on their performance with experts in their field. This happens with all students participating so that everyone learns from each person's experience.
What can I expect from this event?
In this masterclass, you will perform your piece in front of the RCEP staff and the remainder of the participants. You will then be coached on your performance on stage for everyone to take note and learn alongside you.
Who can sign up?
This event is for young performers ages 12-19.
We are inviting ALL TYPES OF PERFORMERS, including:
- Singers
- Actors
- Dancers
- Musicians
- Rappers
- Poets/Writers
- etc.
If you belong on stage, you belong in our masterclass!
What do I need to prepare?
Be ready to perform a piece (song, monologue, scene, dance, poem, etc.) between 3-6 minutes in length. Depending on the number of participants, the staff will dedicate a specified amount of time to work on your performance.
When and where?
The masterclass will be held at the RCEP Campus on July 10, 2021 from 3pm to 6pm.
Be prepared to work the full time, feel free to bring snacks and water to keep you running the entire session.
